Factors of experience, life lessons, or even the way you were raised while growing up play a role in your beliefs. Although you are entitled to your own beliefs, there are some that I encourage you to live by to run a more successful lifestyle and business.
Part of a belief system is having and making ethical decisions in life. There is a standard that us humans live by which is to live morally right. It’s sometimes easy to make unethical decisions, which ultimately shows your character.
In real estate, it’s your job to do your due diligence when it comes to assisting your clients with any purchasing or selling transaction. For the clients who are purchasing a home, you want to make sure that you find them their dream home instead of pressuring them into something they don’t want. It’s not always about making a quick buck because when you are good to others, they will be good to you in return. If you give your clients excellent services, guidance and support throughout the process, expect a referral from them in the future.
Quality over Quantity
Would you rather have one 2 million dollar house transaction or 4 $500,000 transactions to make the same amount of commission? Most agents would prefer dealing with one big transaction instead of multiple transactions. This also plays a role on how you should treat your clients with your service. You want to deliver every single one of your clients with first class experience.
One of the most important parts of your belief system is having the will and wants to continuously grow your education. That doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to go back to school, but there’s tons of information out there for you to expand your knowledge. You have to have the ambition to grow and get out of your comfort zone to become more successful then you currently are.

As a realtor, you need to educate yourself on the requirements, leasing and legal information to be able to answer any of your client’s questions and concerns. When you show your clients how educated you are on new and relevant news, it’ll impress them and make them feel secure knowing that you’re their agent.
