Life Balance and Accountability

To live a great life, you must incorporate a strong and stable foundation, which will provide you with a balanced lifestyle. When your foundation is set, you must be willing to keep yourself accountable for your actions and how you manage your time. By doing so, you will be inviting more opportunities of success into your life.

As a real estate agent, maintaining such a busy schedule makes it imperative that you have balance in your life. Having strong balance and keeping yourself accountable will allow you more time to spend on activities outside of work such as enjoying your family, fitness, religion, hobbies, or relaxation. Planning your weeks the way you want will give you the opportunity to control your success and dictate your happiness.

Set Standards

Set a standard for yourself to make sure you always meet those goals to hold yourself accountable for. This will increase your production levels and lower any stress levels dramatically. There are a few main points to consider when living a life with balance and accountability.

Establish a standard or an expectation for the business and your team to follow. Find out what it is you want and make a goal to achieve it. Setting standards will ensure that you meet the criteria to accomplish your goals. Setting standards and having goals are great; however, they don’t work or mean anything if you do not have the discipline to hold yourself accountable.


Creating a schedule for yourself is vital in having a balanced life. Find out what is important to you, map it out and execute. Having a specific schedule and sticking to it will give you the freedom you truly desire. It’s about giving yourself the opportunity to choose what’s important in your life in these time blocks. We all have 24 hours in a day, but it’s the ones who use their time strategically and efficiently that will make the most out of it. Hold yourself accountable and those you associate with such as your mentors, clients, partners, friends and family.

If you’re serious about making a commitment into a different and healthier lifestyle it starts with how you begin your day. Having a morning routine allows you to become more productive throughout the day because you have the ability to read, meditate, or even work out before the day even starts. Being able to stick with your program and continuing to be consistent will be the direct result of your actions.
