Time management is very crucial in life because you can never replace the time that you lose. In real estate, working with people who are indecisive can be a waste of time because they can’t make up their minds on which property to choose from. To use your time more effectively, give them guidance and be affirmative in helping them find their dream home.
It’s important to let your clients know your work ethics from the beginning. If you miss their phone call for instance, explain to them that you’re going to return their call within a certain time frame — one that is convenient for you. When you set these expectations ahead of time, they’ll understand that you’re not ignoring them. It also gives you space for personal and family time, especially if it’s late at night. Give them other options to contact you such as through email or text to make it more convenient for conversations.
Prep Ads and Blogs
Time management is key for everyone, not just real estate agents. Don’t always try to load yourself with more than you can handle. It’s always a good idea to prep your work before actually doing it. Try sparing an hour or two on a weekend to come up with ads, videos, and blog topics of the month. It will make the quality of your work much better because you’re spacing it out and not cramming your ideas all at once.
Deploying content plays a major role in marketing because it puts your face out there to potential clients. Most people hate the fact that they’re always being sold for products and services. It’s your job to change that by building content that educates people on real estate and how the process works. The more informative you are with your content, the more relevant you become to those who are in the market to buy or sell their home.
Prioritize Your Time Blocks
Every day and every hour needs to be accounted for. Prioritizing your day by time blocks will make it more effective and I can guarantee that you will be more productive. If you don’t know how to begin sectioning your time blocks, try implementing a morning routine. A morning routine can consist of exercising, reading or even meditating. This is one of the most important sections of your time block because it’s where you begin your day. Other time blocks can consist of farming, calling sphere, open house, appointment generator and family time.
